How to choose blood pressure cuff and hose fittings
1) Professional Blood Pressure Monitor
Along the air pathway of BP Monitor , there are 4 fittings usually . The picture below shows you some ideas of how to identify the parts you need .
A) Monitor socket is part half way in the monitor body, half way extrude from the monitor .
B) Monitor plug is the fitting coupling with the monitor socket .
C) Hose connector is the part on hose to coupling with cuff
D) Cuff connector is the part on cuff to coupling with hose
Sometime there is only one coupler instead of two quick fittings exists in between the cuff and hose , or in between hose and monitor if manufacturer designs it cost saving prior to convenience .
2) Home Use Digital blood pressure Monitor .
Usually there is one coupler exists between the cuff and monitor.
