Y-fitting may be required in following cases .

1) Convert single hose to double house

2) Use single hose on double hose cuff

3) Use Single hose cuff on double hose

4) Testing BP monitor or cuff on a NIBP simulator .

Converter may be required in follwoing case.

1) You may have a cuff with screw connector to pair with a bayonet push lock connector on hose

2) You may have a cuff with a twist connecto to pair with a bayonet push lock connector on hose
